Design Methods for FPCBs_5_Practical Application
The design approach mentioned above includes component selection, structural design, and electrical circuit design, which are the three core steps of flexible printed circuit board design. However, not all flexible printed circuit board designs must follow this trilogy. Flexible printed circuit board product designs are all based on user input, and the following situations may occur:
1.Component model determined, flexible printed board structure determined. At this point, only the final step is needed: to clarify the wiring relationships, understand the routing rules, and proceed with electrical circuit design.
2.Component model determined. It is necessary to continue with the second and third steps, perform a three-dimensional structural layout of the flexible printed circuit board based on the product equipment system structure, and then carry out electrical circuit design on this basis.
3.Flexible printed board structure determined. At this time, it is necessary to re-verify whether the components need to be selected, or whether the selected components match the structure. If they do not meet the requirements, changes should be made promptly. Finally, proceed with electrical circuit design.
4.Nothing is clear. At this point, the trilogy must be played in sequence, addressing issues from selection to electrical design one by one, ultimately presenting a perfect work. In summary, all of the above situations are guided by user input, aiming to meet product design requirements. In terms of component selection, structural layout, and electrical design, we strive to be thorough and perfect. From a design perspective, we should have a clear understanding of the product's assembly, debugging, and mechanical testing conditions.
